Oltepesi Tented Safari Camp

Eco photography camp in Maasai Mara

BACKGROUND

About Oltepesi
Oltepesi Tented Safari Camp is an eco safari camp located in Oltepesi Village in Maasai Mara in Kenya, a five-minute drive from Maasai Mara National Reserve. It was founded in 2017 and made to meet professional wildlife photographers, nature photo enthusiasts and wildlife lovers. We offer the very best guides in Maasai Mara with many years of experience working with professional wildlife photographers and nature photo enthusiasts. With the best guides and specially modified vehicles for photography where you both have a good overview and can do low-angle photography, we offer our guests exceptional wildlife experiences and the chance to bring home first-rate images. The camp also arranges for off-road and offers full-day game drives in the very best light. Walking safaris are also offered.

Oltepesi Village is actually a genuine Maasai village. This way, you also have a unique opportunity to learn about the Maasai way of living, adding an interesting aspect of authentic cultural experience to your journey. You can feel at home in the village and photograph and film as much as you like without asking permission first. If you like, you can also stay a night in a traditional Maasai house.

Oltepesi Tented Safari Camp is owned by the partners and co-founders Arnfinn Johansen and John Siololo (known as Big John) and run together with the most friendly Maasai camp staff in the Mara.
